AI Video Enhancer · Sharpen and upscale video to HD or 4K: Sharper, Bigger Video
Turn a soft or low-resolution clip into crisp HD 1080p or 4K — your own footage, sound kept.
What is AI Video Enhancer?
AI Video Enhancer makes a video clip you already have sharper and bigger — HD 1080p or 4K — and keeps its sound. It suits soft phone clips, old footage and short AI-made clips. For pictures, use the AI Image Upscaler; to cut a long video into vertical clips, use the AI Video Clipper.
Best for
- Soft or low-resolution phone clips
- Old footage for today's screens
- Short AI-made clips you want in 4K
- Clips for YouTube, social feeds and big screens
How to use AI Video Enhancer
Full step-by-step guideStep 1: Add your clip
In “Your video”, drop the file or browse for it. Its length and size appear at once, and it uploads to your own private folder; keep the tab open until it says “Uploaded”.
Step 2: Choose HD 1080p or 4K
Under “Size”, each choice shows the finished size, the price for your clip and the usual time. Only sizes bigger than your clip are offered, and 4K takes clips up to 30 seconds.
Step 3: Confirm the video is yours to use
Tick the box to confirm the video is yours, or that you have permission to use it — including from anyone who can be seen or heard in it.
Step 4: Enhance it
Press “Enhance to HD 1080p” or “Enhance to 4K”, or Ctrl+Enter (⌘+Enter on a Mac). We measure the clip on our server and check its pictures first; nothing is charged unless the price matches what you saw.
Step 5: Compare before and after
The original and the enhanced video play together. Drag the divider across them, pause on any frame, and zoom in to 2× or 4× to look at faces and small text. “Original” and “Enhanced” show each one on its own.

AI Video Enhancer: questions and answers
Will it change what's in my video?
No new people, objects or text are added: it sharpens what is already there and makes it bigger, with the sound kept. Very small details, such as tiny writing or faces far away, can still come out slightly different, so compare before and after before you publish.
How long can my clip be?
Up to 60 seconds for HD 1080p and 30 seconds for 4K, and up to 50 MB. Longer videos can be trimmed first — the AI Video Clipper can cut the best moments for you.
Why can't I choose HD for my video?
Your clip is already 1080p or bigger, so only 4K would make it larger. A 4K clip can't be made bigger.
How long does it take?
Usually two to ten minutes, depending on the clip's length and the size. The page shows the usual time for your clip; you can close it and come back.
How much does AI Video Enhancer cost?
Pricing: HD 7 credits · 4K 26 credits for a 10-second clip. The exact price is shown before anything runs, and new accounts get 20 free credits to try Pleosa (valid for 7 days, no card needed). Plans and top-ups are on the pricing page.
Are videos made with AI Video Enhancer labelled as AI?
They don't get a visible label, because they aren't realistic AI depictions of people or events. Every file still carries embedded metadata and signed Content Credentials that anyone can check on the verification page, and anything made from a file that already had our AI label is labelled again.
What happens to my credits if a run fails in AI Video Enhancer?
They go back automatically. The one exception: if a request passes our safety checks but the AI provider's own safety system refuses it and charges us for the attempt, the credits for that run are kept (Terms).
Who owns what I make with AI Video Enhancer, and what happens to my data?
You own your inputs and, as far as the law and our AI providers' terms allow, what you create, including for commercial use. Pleosa doesn't sell your data or train AI models on your content; some AI providers' own terms let them use what they receive (Privacy Policy). Under Your data in Settings → Profile, Download report gives you a PDF of everything we hold and Download copy a machine-readable ZIP; Delete account removes your account, projects and uploads.
